1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Build Wise ("the app"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Build Wise on devices you own or control, for managing your own construction projects. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or sublicense the app except as permitted by law.
3. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter (budgets, expenses, materials, stages, notes, and photos).
- You are responsible for how you use any figures, reports, or analytics the app produces.
- You agree to use the app lawfully and only for legitimate construction project management.
4. Data Ownership
You own the data you create in the app. Build Wise stores this data locally on your device and does not claim any ownership over your projects, records, or photos.
5. Backup Responsibility
Build Wise provides import and export tools so you can back up and restore your projects. You are solely responsible for creating, storing, and safeguarding your backups. We are not responsible for any loss of data resulting from device failure, uninstalling the app, clearing app data, lost or corrupted backup files, or restoring an incompatible backup. We strongly recommend exporting backups regularly and keeping them in a safe location.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the app in any way that violates applicable laws, infringes the rights of others, or attempts to disrupt or compromise the app or your device.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Build Wise is a record-keeping and tracking tool and does not provide financial, engineering, legal, or professional advice. Budget figures and reports are based solely on the data you enter.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the app — including reliance on figures or reports generated by the app.
9. Updates and Changes
We may update the app and these Terms from time to time to add features, fix issues, or comply with requirements. Material changes to these Terms will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. These Terms remain in effect for as long as you use the app.
